Cumulative energy and cost demand analysis in the synthesis of antistatic bionanocomposites compared with the synthesis of polypropylene

Abstract This study aims to find the cumulative energy demand (CED) and cost (CCD) in synthesis of antistatic bionanocomposites (AS BNC) compared with polypropylene (PP). The CED was identified using SimaPro 9.1.1 software, CCD material flow analysis (MEFA) method. results show that required per kg mass AS BNC pellets 87.80 MJ, which is lower than PP (91.19 MJ). shows use 94.38% PP, 2% M-DAG, 2.5% CNC, 1% MAPP, 0.02% MO, 0.03% AO 1010, 0.07% 168 can reduction required, a percentage reduced 3.71%. 68,314.54 IDR, higher (25,577.27 IDR). efficiency natural resources are necessary decrease pellets.
